Undergraduate projects

I regularly teach CSC329 Introduction into Game Programming. Here are two examples from the Spring 2016 class of undergraduate game projects:

Project Pixel, a platformer game by Abdulaziz  Aldhafeeri (May 2021). Click here to play (new window opens).
A platformer game without a name from Alan Lekah (April 2016). Click here to play (new window opens).
Peanut butter and jelly (PB&J), a very unique game by Anita Vonn (April 2016). All graphics are made from scratch. Click here to play (new window opens).
Camp, an impressive game by Steven Emmett (April 2020). All graphics are made from scratch. Click here to play (new window opens, Chrome required). WASD to move the character, SPACE to swing the axe to cut trees (it takes a few chops), I to interact with items (pick up berries, rocks, add fuel to a lit fire, sleep in a built shelter, etc.), E to show the inventory, B to show the build menu, and C to show the cooking menu (to boil water). After a few minutes the night cycle will start and the character will die of cold if not next to a lit fire or sleeping in a shelter. Also the world is incrementally generated so feel free to run around but be aware of wild animals...
